||I have strong analytical and problem solving skills. I have held numerous jobs that required me to be responsible and a leader. I am a fast learner and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
I have recently completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering Technology with a minor in Electronic Engineering Technology at the University of Southern Mississippi. In completing the program, I have gained valuable experience in electronic circuitry and computer programming including PLC, C, C++, Assembly, and Linux while being a member of the Track and Field Team. I am also a member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), The National Society of Black Engineers, and IEEE Computer Society. Additionally, my training has provided me with the necessary skills to design and build circuits.
For my senior project, I created a wearable monitoring device that calculates force due to acceleration. This device’s main components consisted of a microcontroller, Three-axis accelerometer and a SD card. The microcontroller read the accelerations from the accelerometer and computes the force formula and saves the data in a file type that can be opened in Microsoft Excel to a SD card.
