I graduated summa cum laude in 2011 with a degree in Sociology and I am currently pursuing a Masters degree at UMES in Rehabilitation Couseling while working as a Graduate Assistant with the Compliance Officer at the Athletic Department.
I bowled for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for 4 years, winning 2 MEAC Conference Championships and 2 NCAA Division I National titles (2008 and 2011). I was a 4 time All-Academic and 2 time All-American team selection.
I am from Bogota, Colombia and the great experience of participating in intercollegiate sports has sparked my desire to work in collegiate athletics and help other international athletes have a successful transition to college and take full advantage of such an amazing opportunity, not only from an athletic perspective but an academic one too! |
